Two-part Balboa Progressive, plus Dips & Tricks
Balboa is a style of swing dance that was popularized in the 1930s in
southern California. The dance is known for its romantic closeness, fast and
fancy footwork and effortless flow. It has experienced a significant revival in
recent years throughout swing dance communities worldwide. You often see
couples using the quick footwork and subtle styling indicative of Balboa when
the music gets fast.
